What's your technique when talking to someone with a wonky eye?

Do you look at the wonky eye, the good eye, or just split the difference and look at the area between their eyes?

I tend to use the good eye technique, but am open to opposing arguments.

Focus on the nose. This was something I had to deal with the past 2 years.

I fear this will interfere with the establishment of dominance

If she's a female I stare at her boobs like I always do with women.

When engaging my wife from behind, I’m so focused on trying to live up to my expectations in my own mind that I rarely have time to talk or I will lose my concentration.

I do like to blow on it. A natural retraction occurs.

I tend to focus on the good eye, too.

We just let go a guy with a wonky eye recently from work

Whenever he was engaged in the conversation, his eye was straight on... when his brain started to wander, so did his eye... you could watch it happen in real time as his ADD kicked in... fascinating really

Our last conversation:

Me: hey man, you're not even close to where you want to screw that in

Him: You're probably right, I have trouble with angles

Me: No shite? Well how did you toe nail all those boards so perfectly?

Him: I thought they were going in straight

I just picked an eye and ran with it... sometimes I had to chase it around

I tend to go with the good eye, but it takes me a second of going back and forth to figure out which one is the good one

I mean, what do you look at when talking to someone who doesn’t have a wonky eye?

Try to determine which is their dominate eye. If you can’t look at one then the other, it’s difficult

From someone who has a “wonk” eye.. I’d prefer you look at the one that’s looking at you lol. Sucks when you can tell someone can’t tell if you’re talking to them or not..

It's horrible, but I can't help but go back and forth.
