What's your "stupid" way to slow down hurricanes?

I've always wondered if dropping a bomb in the eye of a hurricane would disturb its formation. Of course that would be when it's in the gulf or Atlantic.
On a more comical side, why don't they drop butt loads of ice in the water to cool things down? That's what they do in swimming pools in Texas.

The stupidest way to slow down hurricanes that I’ve ever heard was telling people to stop using oil and coal ...but only in the US

I've wondered why we can't use the methodology Russia uses to clear clouds over Moscow...basically seeding quickcrete in the air which causes cloud moisture to bind to the dust and fall to the earth as rain.
