Everyone needs to remember that just because someone doesnt have kids doesnt mean they are not utilizing the same if not more company resources than the dude on paternity leave. They just arent as visible.

Excelt the excellent Democrat line, word for word regarding "employers taking care of families" which we both know is emotional drivel.

Apparently your employer is taking care of you by allowing you to take off a week without getting fired to take care of your sick wife.

Why is that good for you but not for someone else?

Vance is the one speaking to giving more benefits and help to families. It’s the speaking point of the Republican ticket not the Dems

Very strange thread

you seem to be very emotional over this topic. calm down.

You keep accusing the slamming Salmon of being emotional, but none of his posts are remotely emotional. You on the other hand post like you have tears streaming down your face lad.

Its personal leave. I can take off anytime I choose.

Everyone gets that, pregnant or not. We have grown arse adults that can properly use our resources without begging for more.

Should give generous tax breaks to companies that offer it. We want productive citizens to reproduce.

No, no, no. I'm sick of gov't using regulations and the tax code in an attempt to social engineer things. In the end, it just makes everything worse.

You’re right. Being a present father is job 1. All other jobs are secondary to job 1.

At this company we care about 3 things. God, family and then work.

First two come before all else, with out them you can’t do great work.

Also, I need you to come in no later than 8 and stay until 5

So a benefit bestowed upon you by your boss in order to keep you as an employee.

Well, well, well.

Your boss is flying up to cover for you while you take off to care of your wife.

Sounds like an employer taking care of his employee.

He must be a POS progressive.

I mean shite, rog is reading and posting on td literally all day long (I think he averages a post every 15 minutes or so).

If he took 6 months off I doubt anyone would notice.

If I want to use leave for it, I will.

If I choose to save my leave, I will not

In this case I probably will use some, but not all. Its pretty cool to be able to use your leave bank like you choose.

It is pretty funny. He reads as if he’s punching a wall in between each time he’s calling another poster emotional. It’s quite entertaining.
