Agree.
Ran the national mall a few weeks ago.
This building stands out in a bad way. Everything on the mall is light colored and within a similar styleZ
The AA museum is completely opposite.
Separate but equal I guess.

Fortress of solitude building! I always liked that one, lit up blue at night

Where is this Holiday Inn?

The Republic Tower in Dallas is worse that the prior Dallas entry, pretty sure the "horn" was a cheat to make it the tallest when built.
Somebody already posted FBI hdqtrs.
There is a really ugly low rise in Irving on 114 at MacArthur but I don't know the name
edit to add: other two in the pic are not prizes either, think at least one is in the same complex

It sure looks like the Westbank of New Orleans.

Not sure about the world, but the pink building in Charlotte is an eyesore.

That building is my least favorite in NYC. Too tall and skinny with no redeemable quality. The architectural version of a chick who wanted a 12" cock but got the skinniest one ever, and was not satisfied.

Building in OP reminds me of Rocko's Modern Life

Boston City Hall for me.
And I'm not a particular hater of modernistic architecture, but the setting and particular lines of this abortion are terrible (to me).
I was gonna post the same thing earlier but got distracted. The FBI and federal bank building in Boston also suck.
FBI
Why is it so difficult to post images on this site. Wtf am I doing wrong. I copy the image link from Google paste into the img link and it gives me nothing.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with the lower floors there, but other than that, it looks like a pretty cool old building. Odd choice.

I know people will probably be offended, but I really don't like 1 WTC:
I thought it was a chance to showcase some great architecture to represent a new era in lower Manhattan. This design just doesn't do that for me. The mirrored shell is too 1980's and feels like it's trying to hide away or blend in. The outdated-looking radio tower on top to reach the 1,776 ft. height is a cheap copout, too.
It should have been a much more bold design that really set the tone of the downtown skyline the way the previous twin towers did. This building really fails to do that.
