8oz beers should be outlawed. The drunkest and subsequently most hungover I've ever been was a result of 8oz budweisers. They go down too fast

I usually bring several beers. Nice light easy drinkers with some flavor. Urban South Coop'd Up is great for this. Paradise Park also. Tin Roof Voodoo or Gnarly Barley Jucifer.

This. I don't drink while fishing after a particularly bad experience a few years ago. Perch jerking on the banks of the Tchefuncte is a different story, though.
