A long time ago, I taught for 10+ years (Full and part time) at a resort who's name you would recognize. I never understood the Christmas Ski trip. Sure, it's when lots of folks have time off but in reality, it's only two days (Christmas and New Years). More seasons than not the snow was just marginal and the lines were the longest of the year. Flights and lodging were more expensive as well. Come over spring break when the lines are shorter, the snow is deeper and the weather is better. Better yet come in February when things are basically dead at the resort. Country Club skiing...

I’m not insecure. I probably wear something close to what you wear. But I’m not seeking attention for it. I’m a medical sales rep who has to look presentable. But I don’t have to elevate myself over others to feel better on an anonymous Louisiana based message board.

I’m starting to understand why everyone thinks you’re a joke now. You’re the epitome of new money. You don’t know how to act with your gifts in life and it shows. Those who know, don’t need to flaunt it.
