Can you toast the bread, put Mayo, mustard, pickles, lettuce, meat and bring it to the living room.

First I’ll say, “She will have the Italian sausage sautéed in meatballs”

Then I’ll ask for the fresh tuna

I go with “yea, give me a”. Then, inevitability, I don’t hear what they say when they repeat the order. So I usually ask my passenger “what the hell did they say” or, if no passenger, “I didn’t hear a damn thing you just said”

“Give me a …” and “Lemme get a …” always come from trashy people.

I just point at the pictures on the menu, if the menu doesn't have pictures I know to order a side salad and water so the gratuity I didn't order is cheaper.

I like to order in French and I do so regardless of the restaurant.

If I don't know how to say it in French then I order in English but using a fake French accent. Caution: this does not work in France.

When I was in the industry, this and “Lemme get a…” always came from the non-tipping demographics.

Is this the same demographic that takes 20 minutes in a drive through and the first question they ask is if dey take da EBT for dey fried skrimps?

I once pulled up to the drive-thru at a Taco Bell with my windows already down right as the car ahead of was reaching the ordering menu.

He said 'YO BITCH, LEMME GET A...'

I haven't ordered differently since.

Always this. It was how I was raised and how I expect my two boys to ask for what they want, on top of a “please” at the end. Manners go a long way.
