Has held up pretty well although a few minor electronic issues.
In year 1? That's not a good review.

I know. She’s put 60k miles on it though, and we’ve had it almost 2 years.

The turbo 4 is more than enough in the XC60, not sure about the 90. It's so darn electronic that it feels infinitely responsive, I think a V8 would be too laggy. The transmission and pedals (and steering...suspension too if you get air ride) feel has 'modes' like most vehicles, so typically we put it in Dynamic to prevent auto shut off. It's just the easiest way.

It's a full electronic vehicle, so it kind of jives with the 4 cylinder better than you'd think. The engine is rarely out of sync with a good gear in the transmission. My wife likes to keep her foot on the gas when she changes modes, so it does happen some times.

I like it.

I wonder how long the SJWs are going to let Volvo continue to use the symbol for men as it's emblem?

i drove one of these for a weekend and it sucked. the engine always felt like it was searching for the right gear. The transmission is so busy that it wears you out. and don't get me started on the stop/start

welcome to just about every new car. As models change we will see more vehicles that will be harder to disable that feature

I don't find that to be the case at all, what drive mode was it in?

Agree on that but rumor is a software up date coming. Also Dynamic Mode cancels it.

Pros: Fantastic seats

The most comfortable seat I have ever sat in was in a Honda Accord. It was one of the fully loaded touring sedans with leather of course. Funny but true. Better than the BMW 7 series. Me and my wife both have leather and neither is that comfortable.

I was actually that impressed.

I actually agree with this. I test drove a V6 Accord coupe with leather in 2009 and thought the driver's seat was outstanding.

Very nice girlie truck. Comfortable, pleasant to drive, depending on your job and time on the highway it could be a good fit. But I'm pretty sure there's something in the interior finish that triggers estrogen production.
