So was the Mickey Shunick thread. Followed both of those minute by minute.

Now that one is a Top 3 in my opinion. Maybe even the best. When they started throwing fricking bombs at the police during the shootout and one of them ran over the other, it felt like I was reading a script for a movie unfold in real time.

The Dark Knight massacre was another one. I was working nights when it happened and got zero work done.

the SEC signing day thread where Alabama had a cam girl - and they tracker her down, and one of my fellow Auburn fans placed a Tiger droppings sign in her front yard.

I follow Bawpaw’s daughter-in-law/current wife on Facebook. That whole family is messed up. It appears that his son is now back talking and visiting with the family. No way I could do that.

What’s your favorite OT thread

There have been some great and fun ones in the 22 years that I've been around here. But the Great Zombie Manifesto is far and a away the greatest thread ever on here (see screenshot below).

And the greatest board ever on here was the short-lived Thunderdome Board. Easy GOAT.

While not my favorite in the sense that it was enjoyable, the 2016 flood thread was an example of the best this place is capable of. I only lurked then, but seeing the posters here come together in that thread to help real communities and real people who were hurting and at risk of life and property showed that all the every day noise here is just that. The response was good to see, even if the occasion was terrible in every way.

Same here. I worked with a guy from CP and he told me about the crazy drama. And I started the original thread but I believe it got whacked.

She’s so crazy that I actually feel sorry for her.
