Its called marketing. And in todays society, like it or not, the less people you offend the better.

Lots of normal people are offended by these commercials

I seriously doubt the black people on that trolley car watch The Food Network much less Guy whatever his name is, they were just hating on a player.

I don’t care about the ad, I’m wondering how CAD can watch as much food network, specifically Guy Fieri, and not know what flavortown is.

I like how they portray the streetcar ride. You really can't get the full experience though: suffocating heat along with the foul BO wafting through the car.

White people have been portrayed as dumb in media for years.

Go back to “Sanford & Son”. The white cop paired with Smitty was always portrayed as dumb and un-hip.

Example is the dove (or whatever soap) commercial that had absolutely nothing to do with anything but soap. And blacks got offended because a black chick turned into a white chick

i know about the guy who does the gay 'salt sprinkle' but still have LITERALLY never seen a show where someone says 'oh this pork sandwich tastes like flavortown' or however he is supposed to use it.

Then you don’t watch any shows with guy fieri in them.

He has a cooking contest show with a grocery store set named “flavorfown market” ffs.

He says it 900 times every episode of diners, drive ins, and dives.

my wife was on food network for her food truck a few years back but i dont think the guy who did the show was guy fieri.

still never heard of that. i'll ask my wife when i get home if she knows about the supermarket game.

eta i lied she was on 'cooking channel' on a show called 'eat street'.

Flavortown really is a set and was made just for the show. That kinda surprised me.

Guys grocery games. It’s set in a grocery store and they shop for their stuff then cook. It’s called flavortown market because he always uses that word.
