They are definitely out there. About 4 or 5 years ago a friend of mine that lives in suburban Atlanta, met a retired pornstar that lived in the same condominium building. He went out with her a few times and said they had sex the same day they met. She was about 50 and worked briefly in the business back in the early 90's. I think he said she is a dental hygienist now.

Let's see. There isn't really any coming back from being a porn star. It's not like these girls can do porn for a few years then enter the non porn job market
I personally know 2 that have. One used the money she made and started a real estate company. The other got into fashion and comes out here twice a year for a big convention we have

Glad you added the aspect about having issues but fairly well adjusted. There are many people who are successful but still screwed. Its difficult to gauge. Also brings up the aspect of what does it mean to be 'healthy'. Self-acceptance?
I would also be interested to see how children treat peers whose parents screwed on film for a living.

Yeah, it's not a pretty lifestyle. Few pornstars actually end up better off after their career. For every Shayla Laveaux there's Cytherea, Angela Stone, Juli Ashton, Felecia, Nikki Tyler, Debi Diamond, Celeste, and so on.

there is one study out there that reported they're much more stable than you'd imagine
obviously a ton of them are victims of sexual abuse, too, but that's not as rare in the regular population than you'd think

There's no such thing as super stable in the adult industry. There's not as messed up as your average porn star stable.

I know this was posted a couple years ago, but what was the story with Cytherea, Angela Stone, et al. back then? I recently found a death notice on Angela Stone dated April 2019, but she was still alive back in 2018.
