This is more common then I originally thought too. Personally, I transitioned my kid to a toddler "big boy/girl" bed, and it's been smooth sailing since. Playing on their psychology is half the game.

What's funny is, this isn't really a millennial thing

Until 60 ears ago, damn near everyone "co-slept"

So all those tough greatest generation babies, yep you guessed it, co-sleeping snowflake pussies

My daughter was awful about wanting to sleep with us. I got to where I'd lock my bedroom door just to keep her from sneaking in our room. Never forget waking up and opening my bedroom door to find her asleep on the floor. Makes you feel pretty low.....

When my kid was an infant and would wake up I would try and get her back to sleep with the whole bouncing and rocking routine. Eventually we started falling asleep on the couch. Finally I was like frick this and would scoop her up and throw her in the guest room. When her sister came along the guest room became her big girl room and I'll usually fall asleep with her in there for an hour before it's onto baby duty with the 1 month old

I doubt this will last too many years but for now I love our little time falling asleep

I begged and begged him to let the dog sleep in the bed and he said "okay but if he pisses in the bed you will have to sleep in it". Middle of the night the dog pissed in the bed. He made me sleep in dog piss the whole night. That type of stuff builds character.

You know your brother pissed the bed and not the dog right?
