Ryan Gibbs is pretty notorious one.
One of the most famous soccer players ever for Manchester United, his entire 25-year career was there.
Anyway he was fricking his brother's wife for a stretch of eight years before his family found out and ostracized him from their lives.

I'll say this, if I find out my wife was cheating on me, i don't think I'd really care to go through a divorce, but we would be nothing more than roommates at that point. If we even stayed living together. Working through assets and custody would be too much of a pain in the arse to go through.

Funny story. I try not to be the grammar popo on here because it would take up too much time. I just could not let this one go. This has to be the worst sentence ever constructed in the history of the written word. I mean c’mon dude!! WTF?

I have a decent one. Years ago, my wife and I had a a friend group that consisted of 4-5 couples. We used to hang out most weekends and watch football, play games etc. I started noticing one of the husbands started leaving early every time. 30 minutes later one of the wives would leave to “go home”. So I figured that 2+2=they’re fricking. I didn’t want to believe it so I didn’t confront him. Fast forward a few months and husbands wife is out of town so he hosts a big to do. Well, at 3 a.m. the wife sneaks out of her house and goes across the street for a little hanky panky. Her husband hears her get up and leave the house so he follows her. He sneaks into the house and puts his ear up to the door to confirm his suspicions. For 15 minutes he confirms his suspicions. He doesn’t kick the door down and raise hell, he just goes home. A little while later, his wife comes home and he proceeds to…you guessed it…get him some sloppy seconds. Weird I know. Needless to say, it was a major stink and killed the group, but both couples stayed together. And 15 years later, they still live across the street from each other.

Your wife must have incredible self esteem if you think that she would stay with you in a marriage where you don’t live together.

The story was told to me by a friend of one of the guys on the trip….
A group of guys planned a hunting trip down in Mexico, but as these things tend to go, the wives caught wind of it and somehow managed to turn it into a couples’ getaway. The compromise? The men would go on ahead to the hunting camp while the women stayed in town to shop and relax.
A few days in, the women decided to drive out to the ranch early and surprise the men. When they arrived at the gate, a guard came out to meet the car. He saw a truckload of unfamiliar women, raised an eyebrow, and said in a thick Spanish accent:
“Boss man says… no more whores.”
He didn’t know they were the hunters’ wives.
Let’s just say the rest of the trip got real complicated real fast.

Doesn't make you a man.
But it does speak to his character. Which is obviously better than your friends who you said was a serial cheater. And not cheating does make you a man. There’s nothing more manly than being faithful to your wife, respecting her, and taking care of your family.

I think cheating on a spouse is one of the worst things you can do to them, a total betrayal of trust. I also think cheaters are wired different and might have something to do with their upbringing, having parents who were cheaters and home wreckers. Plenty of evidence in my town to that truth.
I know a guy, wonderful guy, many years ago found his wife having an affair. Turns out his (about 8 year old son) wasn't his because she's a serial ho. Messed him up bad. Also messed up his oldest daughter because she turned out to be a, you guessed it, serial cheater. His oldest boy (his actual son), struggled his adult life and got cheated on by his spouse.
That daughter I mentioned earlier, she married into a family of serial cheaters. Her ex-husband, constant cheater, married more times and has more kids with so many different women I lost track. His sister, cheater, once divorced, heard she cheats on her new husband. Their brother, serial cheater, multiple wrecked marriages. Their mother, a librarian, cheater. Their father, truck driver who, turns out, has this family in South Dakota, another in Montana, and another in Arkansas.
Cheating and home wrecking doesn't just hurt your spouse, it destroys families and becomes generational because those kids get messed up and don't know what a healthy relationship is and they repeat the cycle.
My observation.

I have another one.
I worked for a company in which the president of our location left and after about a year they finally hired his replacement. It was the 2nd in charge at the West Virginia location. The reason it took awhile was so that his kids could finish the school year and move during the summer.. That whole deal.
In our office there was a woman who was in... I think mid to late 50s.. She was a nice looking lady, but was sort of like the "office mom". She was married, had kids who were out of the house. When there were people from other companies working the same project, who would come to the office, people knew her from church. I am just trying to paint a picture of her. She was the conservative type (not in political terms. I have no idea of her politics). She was nice, but not overly fake nice. I guess the best way to describe her would be like the Leave it to Beaver mom, if she worked and was known for going to church.
The new president had been here for about 9 or 10 months. The building was accessible 24/7. We were allowed to work whatever time as long as shite got done. We had an industrial engineer who worked from 2AM to 10AM. He liked to be alone to work, would do his work and staying until 10AM gave him the opportunity to communicate with who he had to. If I recall he was known for getting locked into his work and knocking it out without really taking breaks, etc.. But on this particle day, from what I understand, it was between 4:30-5AM and he just so happened he had to go get something out of his vehicle. He noticed two cars in the parking lot, one being the president. When he went back inside he decided he would go say hello to the president (he was more of a manager of the BR location, they called them presidents for some reason).
The story that was told to me was that when the engineer dude opened the door to where the front desk was located, they heard him and the presidents office wasn't that far off so when engineer turned into the presidents office president was putting on his underwear and she ran behind the door. The engineer told them it wasn't his business he wasn't going to say anything about it, however; a few days later the woman decided she couldn't deal with knowing someone knew and she confessed to her husband then told HR. The president got fired, his wife left him and her and the kids went back to west virgin. The woman got fired and "as a statement to remind people to report activities that violate code of conduct rules" the engineer got a week suspension like he was in 10th grade.. No pay. He would never work over time, but he worked overtime across 3 or 4 weeks to make up for the suspended week.
Two families were blown up, the company had to make changes in several offices, some people quit.. People who was the presidents "people".
So if people cheat.. A good question to ask is "is it worth it?"

He and I are the only one that knew that story until the day he died. I guess I'll take it to my grave too.
His first wife was his real love, but he couldn't keep it in his pants. I never heard him disrespect her, or say anything negative about her.
The one that he cheated on while she was giving birth was usually referred to as, "that crazy bitch".
Oddly enough he had 5 kids. 3 by the first wife and 2 by the second. That boy was the only 'bad seed' in the bunch. Stayed in trouble. The others were always good kids.
