Friend of mine had his college apartment near the ghetto. Hung a bunch of shirts out to dry, they were stolen.

A couple of weeks later, the ghetto denizens were seen with shirts from international resorts, country and western concert t shirts, and country club golf shirts.

Somebody stole my burn can once. I had a 50 gallon barrel I burned trash, etc. in. Would sit out by it and drink at night a lot. Came home one day and somebody had dumped the ashes and took it. There's plenty of places around that will just about pay you to take them (at least there were then), so I never understood why somebody felt the need to steal one.

Last week my car was stolen by some street toughs. Cops found the car a few days later. They stole my rear view mirror, hair brush, and plastic change holder. True story.

Someone broke into my work van years ago and stole my GPS unit and change, but left at least $3,000 in power tools. I guess they were respecting the working man.

Had someone break into my tahoe at the boat ramp. They ripped the top off my console, even though it was not locked, and took everything out. Stole about
$20 or so of loose change. They literally put my iPod, yes I still have one, and my $250 pair of Maui Jim's on the dash to get them out of the way.

A Bart Simpson figurine I had in my shitty car I drove in college...a gift from my 10 year old nephew. They busted the window to steal it.

mebody stole a tire pressure gauge out of my truck bed once. I've heard junkies will use them as crack pipes, but he didn't even touch the crack pipe that was sitting right next to it. Weird.

That is def a crack pipe play. Take the top off clear the inside and put brillo on one end. They work better cause they take heat without cracking

I can only think of twice when I've been stolen from.

In HS, a half ounce of shitty ditch weed. I was going to spray it with some blueberry scent and sell it to freshmen for $25 a gram as "blueberry kush"

Freshmen year of college my roommates friends stole all my text books. I couldn't prove it was them because I hadn't gone to class in a month so I didn't know exactly when they went missing and therefore couldn't tell campus security a specific timeframe to look at the dorm cameras. I don't think my actual roommate knew because his dumbass let his a-hole friends in our dorm unattended before, but they had just been bragging a few weeks before that about their new money making scheme of stealing text books and selling them back to the campus book store.

A vacuum cleaner. It was a $200-300 Shark. And used. Not some fancy pants vacuum. People are dumb.

I have had three things stolen ever.
Left a jacket on a chair while shooting pool.
Left my mala in unlocked locker while showering. (Mala= prayer beads with Buddhist trappings/reminders).
Tennis racket. Also while in shower in college. Right before doubles finals.

Tie your camel.

A snickers bar off of my desk. I've had unattended money and countless valuables left there over the years, but the only thing that was ever stolen was a damn snickers bar
