What's the weirdest thing someone has stolen from you?

A few years ago someone stole the pin off my trailer hitch. They didn't even touch the hitch, just took the pin holding it in place...

I'm pretty sure it was a joke, but all of my pen's caps. I'm out in the field a bunch and use the cap pocket clip on my shirt. I lost the pens pretty quickly, but just went and bought some more. Never got taken again.

Somebody stole a tire pressure gauge out of my truck bed once. I've heard junkies will use them as crack pipes, but he didn't even touch the crack pipe that was sitting right next to it. Weird.

I used to workout a lot and often used an ab-wheel several times a day in my office. Some young engineers thought this was goofy.
So one of them stole it and then, when I sent a building-wide email to our plant area, someone put a bagel with a hot dog through it by my door the next morning.
I sent a Plant-wide email that pissed off managers and it showed up for real the next day.
CSB. a fricking Ab-wheel.

Someone broke into my car, it was parked in front of the house in tigerland. They stole my deodorant, tooth brush, toothpaste, long sleeve Nike shirt that only had a Nike logo on it. They left 6 jazz fest tickets.

Had a misting system mounted to the patio/pergola.

That sounds like a bum who stole the tickets and couldn't sell them. Then needed your clothes more and figured wth this guy may want these.

I lived in that area 1996-1998 ish because it was cheap. My damn vehicles got broken into so often I just started leaving them unlocked. I was tired of fixing locks or replacing windows

In college my roommates and I were robbed in the middle of the night.
We didn't have much, we were broke college kids. They stole a chest freezer, my tub of protein, and a cardboard cutout of Erin Andrews we had in our living room.

Usually yes. but this was a real head-scratcher of a theft/prank and pissed me off more than they thought it would. Engineers are fricking dorks while I just play an IT guy on TV. I skeered em good.

Someone broke into my work van years ago and stole my GPS unit and change, but left at least $3,000 in power tools. I guess they were respecting the working man.
