What’s the timetable for the LSU Lakes to be renovated? City Park Lake in shambles

Dredger is on the middle of sorority row and the City Park lake is covered entirely by lily pads. Is there any hope that this gets done in time before family weekend so parents have something nice to look at?

Never be ready in time.

This is how you tell someone that you’re white without telling them that you’re white

Just Phase 1 is a year long project, it might be gone for family weekend 2025

I wonder what they’re doing with the dalrymple area next to I10. Seems like they clear a good bit of dirt and there’s a crane sitting there 24/7.

They need to do a 12 month long study/surveys on the land before they pull out the dredgers

They knew it was gonna look like shite for a long time. One of the reasons it got put off for 25 years.

I’ll be shocked if it’s complete by 2030

Hopefully that's long done, as they announced this project back in 2019. Who am I kidding? It's Baton Rouge

All done, permits all acquired, etc. At least for Phase 1.

Why would you want to remove nature from nature??

Asshat, I'm asking specifically about the LSU sorority row portion since that's where the most food and auto traffic will be coming down.
