Idk man. 2nd in my platoon, 6th in my company out of about 300 as a marksman.

It’s not because I’m not a good shot. I just don’t get it.

Why am I not surprised?

I shoot and shoot a lot - like a lot a lot.

I enjoy getting more and more proficient in all facets of shooting. From being timed in the tactical bay to hitting a target at a mile it’s all a great way to maintain body discipline and spend time with my children.

It is possible to enjoy both. As a flintlock shooter, it would be nice to have someone understand the love of traditional arms. Mastering these antique styled guns takes skill and discipline.
After that, other shooting is far easier.
My Remington 700 has a polymer stock.
I like anything from Glock to flintlock.
Never really got into modern ships.

A perfectly released arrow, a well struck golf ball, a redfish taking drag, the ping of a steel target with iron sights on an AR, shooting skeet and hitting a double.

It just feels good man.

I am a hunter and I don't get it either.

For me, my parents divorced and going to the gun range or hunting was about the only time or activity I would do with my dad other than him coming to my sporting events. So, there’s that and it was always a group of people at the range or camp sharing stories and resources and being friendly.

My friends and I would shoot and want to grow up and want to be responsibility of gun ownership and handling bc it made us feel like adults. One of my friends had a farm, so I was fortunate enough to shoot a lot out there. Loud noises, the smell of gun powder, the smoke, not a lot of dots to connect there why some guys might like that.

Also, mastery of any skill could excite anyone. Really ignorant to say you just sit still to shoot. Pretty poetic to say you like to throw stones though…

Are you enjoying your Muslim country? Once Sharia law is forced for all of England you will no longer be able to post your ridiculous liberal comments on here.

Different people enjoy different things.

Some people like shooting guns. Some people like trains and boats. Some people, like you, enjoy taking a dick in the arse on occasion.

It's not ignorant, you just disagree with it. Ignorance implies the lack of knowledge about firearms. I can take apart and put together machine guns in the dark, I've fired more weapons than most people here, likely better than most people here. It's nothing more than making sure your weapon is correctly calibrated to the environment and then not moving. That's all it is. It's probably why fat fricks get excited over it. Not a lot of athleticism.

Also throwing stones implies I made a hypocritical statement, of which I didn't. I asked about the feeling people who liked guns get, and someone equated the feeling of throwing a snowball and hitting something. That actually did answer my question, so I mentioned that I like to throw rocks at a pole, so I get that, however a lot of why I like it is because I am physically throwing the rock. Why you think you're correctly using the phrase is because you've made the incorrect assumption that I dislike firearms, when I was genuinely asking the question about the feeling people get from it.

So I get what you're saying, you just don't know when that phrase actually applies. It's a good attempt, though, better than most retards on this board. Still, kind of a tallest midget situation you got going there.

Ships have always represented freedom and escape from the drudgery of village life, a possibility of adventure. If you didnt want to be stuck on the farm and you wanted to see the world, the only way to do that pre-airplane was to sign onto a ship. And even after industrialization began, the mighty Clipper Ship was the most impressive and beautiful thing crafted by human hands until the great skyscrapers cane along.

Take it or leave it but there’s a reason you can’t understand and it probably has something to do with the way you’re relating to differing points of view without taking on the information. How many different forms of shooting are there? Not all of them are sitting still. Some requires a mastery over self or while a wild animal is charging you or you next meal is running away from you and yes it is ignorant to ignore these other forms of shooting and all that goes into it just to minimize it into sitting still.

Congrats on putting shite together in the dark. I’m sure someone somewhere is proud.

And then to double down and assume everyone who likes to shoot is fat in your post about not being ignorant and not throwing stones was a master class.

When you're in the middle of the pacific ocean, hundreds of miles from any land, a ship can be a handy thing to have around.

When you're in NOLA and in the middle of the housing projects, a gun can come in handy too.

Doubling down first requires a singling down.

Work on the reading comprehension. It will do you wonders.
