Why not just get an SUV if you are gonna do this?

Always seems to be an old baw average age 70 with a camper top truck

Truck bed is bigger and easier to put stuff in than an SUV

I don't think the top over the back is removable on many SUVs these days

I had one that I’d put on to head down to south Texas ranch a couple times a year. Never know when you’ll hit rain with all our gear in the bed

Outside salesmen use trucks with camper tops all of the time for work during the week and have the top off for weekend personal activities. You most likely know the reasons people use them, weird thread

We went fishing this past weekend and stayed at the camp. The camper top allowed us to pile in all of our gear and have it secure while we pulled the boat.
You know, man stuff outside.

Putting dirty crap in it and just pressure wash it away.

Those elderly need that camper top to keep their bass speakers dry.

You’ve obviously never been smooth-talkin a lady at the bar and dropped the line, “I’ve got my camper truck parked out back.”

It’s like fishing with dynamite. Not even fair.

You can stuff in the bed that you dont want to get wet but that you also dont want to share air space with inside of an SUV - gas cans, work equipment, etc...

Can serve more purposes than an SUV
