I was just there and would move in a heartbeat. Fastest growing city in the South.

Yep. Same as Savannah.

All this talk about a wall between us and Mexico when what we really need is one between us and the Yankee migrants.

Great city, lots of history, great low country food, beautiful homes, and very easy to navigate the historic district on foot.

Beautiful town filled with a ton of insufferable people who act just like people in NYC. They think the world doesn't exist outside of the peninsula. They've sold their soul to hipsters and Yankee tourists.

Beautiful city. It's neat seeing a British colonial city in the South.

Charleston isn’t what it once was. It sadly sold its soul. I miss living there but I know if I ever go bs k it won’t be the same.

I do miss eating at Kickin Chicken though.

I`m referencing or leaning on those who mention New Orleans in this thread.

Have you been to Charleston? Are you a ´muah, Spoleto´ person?

Charleston is no New Orleans, for good and for bad.

What does a town look like after the Yankees have moved in?

Charleston’s had enough foreigners come in. First it was the French, then it was the Spanish, now... The Yankees!!! Where does it end?

Anyone saying anything about Yankees ruining it either doesn’t live there or just likes to repeat what everyone else says because they think it makes them edgy and witty.

I watched that city transform over my life. Yes, the Yankees have slowly eroded its soul.
