What's the OT obsession with body-on-frame SUVs?

Seems like the only trucks that the OT recommends are of the body-on-frame type SUVs like the 4Runner, Tahoe, Suburban etc. For most of the population that spends 99% of their time mall crawling or commuting on freeways and not really offroading, don't cross overs make more sense?

More space for hauling shite and the towing capacity.

A crossover is just a glorified sedan with a rear door/hatch.

Ignorance

Honestly sedans and wagons make the most sense for majority of the population.

Same reason why every other vehicle on the road is a giant truck.

The new Kia Telluride SUV has more interior room than the Chevy Tahoe while having smaller overall outer dimensions. So I don't buy that argument that crossovers have less room.

Try and pull your bay boat behind a suv made for a woman and you will understand why.

crossovers can't tow shite and you can't put 35's on them.

An EV would make the most sense for what you described.

Well sure if EVs were cheaper and more options to charge existed.

Tax write off, baw. Not the 4-runner that doesn’t qualify. 4-runner is just a hell of a vehicle.

Depends on the size of the boat. Unibody SUV’s/crossovers can pull most boats up to 20’ safely.
