What do you even use a boat smaller than 20’ for?

I purchased my SO a 4Runner trd pro a few weeks back. Great SUV, and it drags around my hells bay professional with no issues.

Not enough room on the back window for stickers.

I’ve noticed that 4 door pretty heavily customized Jeeps are the most popular vehicle for women under the age of 24.

Our RAV4 has plenty of room and utility for 95% of the shite we need a vehicle for. I have my truck for the other stuff.

Seems like the only trucks that the OT recommends are of the body-on-frame type SUVs like the 4Runner, Tahoe, Suburban etc.

The Subaru Ascent lives up to its 5000/500lb tow/tongue ratings. And I got 28mpg driving it like a soccer mom on highway pretty loaded (not towing anything of course--that's where it kills you: MPG towing) over holidays.

And I'd choose it over my SuperDuty 4x4 in the snow, off-road, or for any driving for that matter, unless I'm hauling/pulling something serious.

That's why I had to exhibit my baw cred by citing my SuperDuty. Lol.

I don't know how the other ballers use them, but I use it for the dinghy that the crew tows behind the shore tender when the tender isn't berthed in the drydock built into the side of my yacht.

I own a Subaru Outback, can confirm. The stereotype is pretty true. Moreso back in the 00’s. But yeah, lol.

For most of the population that spends 99% of their time mall crawling or commuting on freeways and not really offroading, don't minivans make more sense?

I've never had a body on frame SUV. I've always had real trucks because I needed them and minivans or cars because I needed them. SUVs are only good if you have one or two kids that are at an older age...and you tràvel a lot. But they still aren't good for real trucks purposes. So in my case I will likely never own an SUV. It's just not a practical vehicle for me.
