What’s the most struggling fast food chain?
Posted by CincinnatiTiger

I have no data, but I imagine Subway has to be hurting. Awful ingredients and much better competitors.
2nd place, maybe Arby’s?

I'd think Burger King. They never look busy around here.

Arby's was great 5 years ago, they suck now. I agree it is between them and Subway among chains that were good in that time frame.

But they have been that way for over a decade. Bad food and service make them a last resort for most and they seem to have reached equilibrium.

I think Subway is fine regardless of the dog food they serve, don’t they have the most locations world wide?
Del Taco is pretty dogshit, same for Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s. Nobody ever there

My kids have been seeing ads from Subway and were obsessed to go there. I took them there not having stepped inside of one for over ten years. It was a time warp. It's that first impression when you open the door. Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Chipotle, etc. has character and an upbeat vibe. Enter a Subway and you immediately get depressed. The outdated decor needs to go.

Subway has the most restaurant locations by a wide margin last I read. But I want to say I also heard it’s looking like their massive number of locations is also leading to their demise

Their steak biscuit and bacon/egg/cheese biscuits are still good. Other than that, meh.
