I probably should by used but I’ve owned 8 vehicles and all have been new. I’m considering buying a slightly used vehicle for my next purchase.

Bought a Toyota Corolla with138,000 Miles for $2500. Kept it until it had 221,000. Never did anything but oil changes, tires, and brakes. Sold it for $1000. Good deal.

My dream car would be a white or black 06' E55 AMG. So many potential problems though, it would live at the shop.

So maybe a 2015+ Lexus IS 300/350 would be a better choice.

My FIL handed down his 2008 Tahoe LTZ to my oldest son. 220,000 miles. Looks like it just came off showroom floor.

I’ve got a 2015 that doesn’t hold a candle.

I used to buy 2-year lease-end Lincolns for about half the new price. Tried to get corporate cars (not rentals) I'd drive them for 2 years and do it again.

Don't think I ever had a problem with any of them. They usually had about 18 to 20 K on them when I got them.

Bought an Acura RSX-S with 240,000 miles on it.

Sold it a few years letter (after zero repairs) to buy a much lower mileage (122k) Mini Cooper S that required frequent repairs.

Loved them both but repairs suck.

1987 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 in 1988 with 15,000 miles paid $4799 for it. I drove it for 249,000 miles for street use to go to work and home.

Then put lift kit, roll bar, winch to use it for running in the desert.

Repainted it the original color, changed the bench seat out to captains chairs, and gave it to my son when it had 375,000 miles.
He uses it as a vehicle to run around the hunting camp.

On the original Z24 4 cylinder engine, the Ac/ heat work, original transmission, pioneer radio I put in it in 1988 still works, and still rides good for 4x4 from 80’s.

I've bought a few used Toyotas over the years. My goal is around 50,000 miles and 3 years old. By this point most of the showroom premium has dissipated.

I sold one. One got totaled. The family still has two of them (2000 Tacoma and a 2002 4 Runner).

Side Story: In the early 80's I bought Toyota Corona new for about $5,200. Two years later I traded it in. They gave me $300 more for the trade in than I originally paid.
