About ten days and there were no streams to bathe in. When I got that hot shower I must have stayed in it for a half hour or more, it felt fantastic.

Pretty sure I made it into shower every night at OCS. Maybe during phase one it was only pits and privates but I can't remember. The beginning of basic was a different story but that was in a December at Ft Benning.

I don't know how you can be in salt water, in sand, possibly wearing sunscreen, etc. and not take a shower after a day of that.
