I'm 45 and I literally cannot remember the last time. It would have been before I was married. Our 21st anniversary was in December.

The most impressive part is I coach HS sports and have 4 daughters at home. Definitely cause for getting drunk from time to time.

I drink one time a year, on a long weekend during the summer with old friends. Other than that, not a drop the rest of the year. I just dont really enjoy it.

Probably haven’t had a drink in 4 or 5 years. Zero desire to, the thought actually sounds kinda disgusting tbh

Probably about 5 years, maybe a little longer. But I never have been much of a drinker after my teens/early 20s

From 7/11/2012- sometime in March 2020

Thought I could handle beer, but mixed in hurricanes at a crawfish boil for Mardi Gras in Georgia… same blackout issues and idiocy.

Sometime in Feb 2021- current.

I occasionally have a sip literally of my wife’s beverage.

Don’t plan on ever drinking again.

Close to a year. I decided back in the mid 90's to see how life was without drinking alcohol and just stopped drinking.

I'd still go to bars to toss darts, play pool, catch a game, etc. but either drank juice of NA products.

It was kind of fun to head to bars in the afternoon and watch people come in for Happy Hour and proceed to get to various stages of inebriated. Some turned into assholes, others went from white collar professionals to frat boys over the course of 3 hours.

After about a year I went back to my social drinking and continue on that path today. Haven't been what I consider "drunk" in ages.

Either this board has become a hotspot for AA or y'all are some MFin' liars. Just about everyone in this damn thread hasn't drank in years.

Yeah, okay, buddy.

1 year. I still rarely drink ever since I went that full year without it. The last drink I had was 2 months ago, and it was a Michelob Ultra.

Thats not how it works.

Not everyone on the board has responded. Not even close, these threads draw people who have a peculiar interest.

Unless you’re a raging alcoholic, if you go 2 weeks without a drink you can go forever without one. The less I drink the less I want to, the more I drink the more I want to. Funny how it works
