I watched him rebuild a plane wing. He had bought a piper pit bi plane, but before he flew it, he wanted to get used to taxiing it around. It wobbled pretty bad and completely tore up one of the lower wings. He re did the work work on the wing itself, then sewed the covering back on it. This process took a few months.

A close 2nd was watching him build a greenhouse using a trampoline.

I felt some a few years ago when we were having them here in OK. I remember being on the phone with my brother when one happened. He was about 20 miles away. He just stopped and said what was that.
