I've done 150 in an Audi S5 I owned on an interstate in the middle of no where between Hattiesburg and Picayune.

I did over 135 on my r6 once, just to see what was like. It rarely goes over 80 now.

Those guys running 200+ are driving some insanely powerful cars. Most of the issue is traction at the start.
Then you know what kind of power it takes to go almost 200 in a 1/2 mile. I was making about 1100 whp on this test pass. I'm the silver car. I have no desire to do the mile. I think I would do 225 on kill and my car is only wind tested to 200. No thanks.

About 10 years ago, I went 130 mph in my parent's Cadillac DTS, as determined by the digital speedometer. It was surprisingly quiet and comfortable at that speed. It felt like our Camry did at 60 mph.
I still love and appreciate big cars to this day.

About 130 in a Lamborghini Huracan and 135 in a McClaren MP4-12C.
It was at a track, too many dang turns to go faster

sure you did
Fast for me fast is over 150mph. Normal interstate speed is 90-100 depending on conditions. Fastest I've driven was 186, and it was on a back-road highway. Been over 130 hundreds of times, and used to do it daily

Bmw m6 on the a8 (autobahn) between Stuttgart and Munich. I hit the mid 170's. The crazy part is that a McClaren blew my doors off. I basically heard that fricker pass me. My a-hole tightened up like a snare drum. When I climbed out of that car, my taint had left a starfish in the seat where it had grabbed on. The worst part of that ride was the trip to the gas station. frick buying gas by the liter.

Hit 120 in my friend's camaro. Handled really well. Hit 100 in my Honda accord and felt like I was going to die

What kind of vehicle?

Probably 80. I've been in cars that were going faster, but never driven that fast.

Did 145 on my old kawi 636 between sorrento and Laplace where they had fresh black top at the time. Took it out saying I was going to top it but wussed put when then middle stripe started looking like one big line.

130 Breaking in a Dodge Charger on I-49 late one night. Backed off after that. gets a little scary at about 130.
130 in a Charger is silky smooth. The Charger will get you in trouble speed wise if you don't watch your speedometer

Most people are perfectly calm with me going fast because they have no idea how fast I'm actually going. I just keep things as usual and conversations are perfectly regular. No white knuckling or anything, just relaxed. In fact, they'd probably be more nervous around me going under the speed limit than 30mph over on account of my road rage. On the interstate, I don't start really paying attention until 130 because of the speed difference between me and the other cars. Have to start focusing, reading other cars movements, and predicting what they're gonna do.

To add a little insight to the argument I currently drive a 03 g35 sedan with over 180,000 miles on it. Have done 130 multiple times in short bursts and never had a problem. Now holding that speed for more than a minute or two is probably out the question.
