No one has ever panhandled on my behalf without my knowledge and gave me everything they made.

Panhandlers typically keep 100% of what they raise.

Nope, they split it with their boss.

Everyone has a friend or family member with cancer. Doesn't justify begging IMO when just about everyone deals with it at some point.

I say this as someone that is in the progress of renting an apartment in Houston just so that myself and my father that is fighting cancer has a place to stay when we go for his treatments 2 weeks at a time. I am not begging for people to give me money to cover those expenses.

Guess I just think differently because starting a GoFundMe or something is the last thing on my mind right now.

I think the main diference with go fund me is that when a distant person, still a friend of the cancer, ICU, or whatever, is that most people want to help and a little bit of money is all they can do. Ignore it if you don't like it

Every gofundme person doesn't claim to be a veteran?

Panhandlers actually get up off their arse and out of the AC?

The ones I usually see are not started by the people who are seeking the benefit. It is usually a close friend.

You don't have to give any money to either one.

I've never seen anyone raise 20k in 8 hours of panhandling.
