My old foreman at works daughter and son in law lived in Lakeview. He told me his son in law shot a looter in the chest and drug him into the floodwaters.

I heard a bunch of pussies hauled arse and didn't clean out their refrigerators or remove potential missiles from their yards. Then the Red Cross gave them each $3,000 for their cowardice, which was stolen from the good Christian people of America.

After about half of these wimpy vacationers returned home, they decided Katrina was God's retribution for having too many property tax assessors, which they rectified.

But at least I got laid.

There was a thread on here with someone claiming a "brother in law" story. IIRC thug gangsters were shooting at cops in the Superdome so her BIL took to shooting multiple people with a rifle he took out of the hands of military police officer or some shite. That thread was chock full of good stories and some absolute bullshite.

ETA think it was the original Katrina Stories thread

While looters were busy with TVs and jerseys, organized gangs came to New Orleans from all over to tactically hit jewelry stores and art galeries.

They figured it out after sniping a bunch and finding their west coast gang ink all over them.

*and that crazy a-hole that was in the newspaper, then barbequed his girlfriend and walked off a roof.

But on the other hand I bet you think people who believe the levee was blown up is crazy for believing it.

Black water was all over the place. I actually worked with some of them when they were providing security at the FEMA centers. Some of the ones I spent time with were down in NOLA during those initial days. They were badass men that I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of. And they would not talk about what they had seen or experienced. While I do t believe the most outrageous stories we’ve heard, I am absolutely convinced that some terrible things happened down there.

Fact—-Some sort of contract or foreign national special forces protecting the old jewish family homes Uptown. Local LEO had red dots on them many times as they made rounds. Some uneasy moments the first night or two until it was sorted out. Learned it was the group brought in to protect those homes. Rumors of Moussad, but sounded more like Blackwater.

Also know at least one trooper who was lost/forgotten after he was dropped off in the bywater to protect houses from looters. Guy had a bunch of problems after being stuck there for 3-5 days too long.

We liquidated all of the OPP inmates and buried them in the levee.

Was talking to a guy at work today and he said during Katrina, Chris Kyle (American Sniper Guy) was shooting/killing looters off the top of the Superdome.

Thought this would be a good spinoff.

Chris was on the top of the Dome dressed in snow camo so you would not have seen him.

Some guy on Bill O'Reilly's show said gangs were driving into New Orleans from Miami to take over the city. Obviously discounting the Twin Spans being completely destroyed.

NTY

SARBO at causeway and I10, ATF handing out vest to search operators on the crescent city connection, Blackwater searching for missing a Canadian nationals, US Marshall’s at Covenent House on Rampart, bullet holes all over 1st district PD on Rampart, medical standby for multiple raids. But most of all some poor soul that tried to recover a Browns Dairy truck that had sat for 2 weeks on Rampant. Watch him fill up a Scott full face respirator with puke within a minute of opening the back doors. I laughed so hard from about 75 yards away then hacked my guts up when the smell got to me. Also sliding about 30 feet across the floor of Louie Armstrong terminal floor due to bodily fluids covering the floor.
