As insane as the place is, Cal Berkeley’s campus is beautiful. Used to walk through it as a shortcut to Telegraph Avenue’s shops and pizza joints on weekend liberty.

Colorado State was pretty cool. Also Arizona had a neat campus.

Lol funny enough my gf took a pic throwing the birds in Saban's reserved parking spot at Bama. Can't say it was hard to miss the AMG parked in it regardless of the sign saying it lol

Washington and Air Force.

AFA is stark and brutal, very militaristic, in a beautiful setting with the mountains right over your shoulder. The Cadet Chapel is iconic.

Washington is more classically gorgeous and you've got the general PNW greenery everywhere, a gorgeous quad and library, plus being a stone's throw from Lake Washington? Hard to beat IMO.

At some point in recent history we ran out of kids that wanted to be stone masons.

We stopped building beautiful structures because after WWII , the cult of Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe took over architecture, and after that, everything had to be soul-sucking ugly and cheap. Glass and concrete and steel boxes only. “No Ornament!” was Mies’ number one rule. And Ugliness is Beauty has been the philosophy ever since.

College of Charleston is beautiful. Probably gets penalized for not really standing out against its surroundings. Looks like the rest of Charleston historical district (also beautiful).

Btw. Rented a condo just off campus for a week. Holy hell there A LOT of cute girls and seemingly very few dudes.

I thought Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL had a bit of charm to it when I was working in the area.

Princeton Univ was probably the only thing in NJ that didn't make me want to throw up. Not sure if it was a really pretty campus or if it was just so much nicer than it's surroundings that I thought it was awesome.

Also Oglethorpe Univ in Atlanta.

But because of my own bias and preference, I am drawn to the Italian Renaissance architecture of The Ole War Skule in Baton Rouge with its stately oaks and broad magnolias shading inspiring halls.
Any place where the azaleas are blooming in February is gonna be hard to beat.

Pepperdine is hard to beat and the Air Force Academy is great also.

Baylor's campus has some beautiful buildings, but you have to get of I-35 and walk around to appreciate the campus.

And if you know folks like the general counsel for Berry, you get to go hunt deer on campus.
