i wish they could figure out the common reason for some dying and some surviving. there's got to be a common denominator.

This china virus really dislikes hypertension & diabetes. Which is possibly why LA is getting hit so hard?

Majority of younger folks I’ve seen hospitalized with it had history limited to HTN & DM.

Im hoping the severe cases were people with uncontrolled cases of each but no one knows shite yet it seems.

Going through our data, if they are younger than 60 and on a vent/or die, they almost all have one or more of the following:

- Obesity (can be connected to several others on list)
- Immune-compromised
- COPD
- Diabetes
- Heart disease

I bet it is some specific gene, or set of genes, in the DNA.

There will be many bright minds studying this exact question.

It's a respiratory virus. There is no "common reason."

Because people that are 150lbs overweight are being reported as "no underlying health issues"...

Is that true? Are they not counting obesity as an underlying health condition?
