There was 25 years difference between my mom and step-father. Both have passed on.

that was my first thought but that's not a "non-gold digger" situation.

my father +27 years over mother
big generational gap too. Father 61 when I was born. Grand dad was 44 when my father born. You can figure the rest but my grandfather was born in 1850.

Seriously, I know a guy who is 39 who married a girl who is 21. He is a coach. She went to the school he coaches at.

I don't know his exact age, but one of my sister-in-laws (no pics) is married to a dude a few years older than her dad. They've been married for about thirteen years now and even managed to have a kid. They are happy. He doesn't have excessive $$$.

He was 50+, she was early 20s. They split bc she wanted kids and he didn't.

About 25 years, a girl I went to HS with. Her husband and her dad are about the same age. Pretty awkward IYAM.
ETA: at every sorority formal, there's always one or two middle aged guys standing around looking embarrassed to be there.

in my neighborhood, she's mid-40s, he's late 70s early 80s.
They have twins that are my son's age (11).
he never goes to the boy's baseball games or helps at all that I can tell.
feel sorry for the kids.

This has been my experience as well. Anything over about 8-10 years difference and I have my suspicions.
