Damn, got me beat. Many women like older, experienced and confidant men. My wife is always complimenting me. Sex life is awesome too.

My wife never even thought about dating an older man before we met.
I certainly hadn't thought of dating a woman that much younger.
I was shopping at an off base grocery store and came across her then bf beating the shite out of her right there in the store. I stopped it, asked her if she had a way to get home , she said no, I gave her the keys to my truck, sent her on her way, had a "discussion" with the boy , went out to my truck took her home and she never left.
Worked out wonderful for us. She took to my son right away and treated him as her own, we've had 2 of our own and adopted 2 more along the way.

well there you go.
my story isnt as dramatic but i helped my wife out of a bad situation as well.
eta one day the young scamps on this board will realize us older dudes are way more attractive to young women than they are when they're trying to impress with their beer pong skills.

Is your sister looking for an older guy or is that off the table? Asking for a friend, of course

The age difference between my current wife and I used to be the norm actually. For a variety of reason, not the least of which is that women are usually much more mature than en of the same age.

My grandfather in his 70s took in an exchange student from what was at the time Czechoslovakia. She was about the age of my older brother at the time, 21. He married her. Dirty old man. She was fine as frick. Those were fun reunions. As soon as she got her citizenship she handed him divorce papers

He was 50+, she was early 20s. They split bc she wanted kids and he didn't.
This is another good question. What's the oldest you have known a man to father a child? My dad's best friend was in his early 60s, married a girl in her early 30s (actually that might be the biggest marriage age gap, the one I mentioned was the first to come to mind) and he knocked her up... Twice. The second time was like 1.5 year after the first one. This was years ago. The guy is must be in his mid 70s now, so the wife would be in her mid 40s and the kid must be 12-13... years old give or take a year.

I don't know the guy's age, but my high school soccer coach married a girl that graduated a year after me. She played on the girls team.

Obviously I don't know these people but an interesting story is The Last Confederate Widow. The girl was 21 when she married an 81 year old Civil War veteran. Guess what... 10 months after the wedding, she gave birth !

1. My ex-Girlfriend (55) is married to a 73 year old man. Celebrating 24 years of marriage this year.
2. Hispanic friend Jose (53) is married to a Philippine woman who is (25). Been married three years.

I know a lady who is in her late 40s and married to a guy in his 70s. She's great looking for her age. He looks like an old man even though he tries to dress younger. The next decade is bound to be interesting for them.

Nope.

Thanks for asking. Seriously. I miss her.

Thanks, you're right.
I miss her to an almost inappropriate level, she was 9+ years older than me and was almost a surrogate mom to me. A real gentle soul.
It feels good saying it and thinking of her because I don't speak of her often to my remaining friends and family.
