My wife is 6 years younger than I. When we met at 33 and 27, we were in similar spots personally and professionally so it has never seemed like much of a difference.

I was 17 and she was 21. Only dated a few months. She went on to be a high school teacher in a neighboring state. Odds are strong she was popular with the male student body.

I took my live in 30 year old gf to my 40 yr HS reunion. Together 5 years until she decided to trade me in for one only 20 years older than her. Currently a 10 year age gap, which works much better.
ETA: Women that are my age are legitimately too old for me. I have too much energy and do too many things for an older woman.

Mine has mommy issues and thinks her dad hung the moon (he truly is a salt of the earth baw). Works well in my favor. Her dad has 19 years on mom.
