I've ridden both routes. The uptown route is terrible for riders, at least at night. Endymion and their route is best!

You obviously don't know a lot of Endymion riders, just on my float we have everyone from doctors, firemen, and bakery workers....

Been in Endymion since I was 18, so I’m biased, however both are good. Bacchus set the standard, and I think Endymion has surpassed it, again biased. I’m sure Bacchus is just as fun to ride in and party after. It’s all what you make it.

I like the uptown route more.
I sometimes have to work Monday so the Saturday night slot is nice
Floats pretty even - both could use something fresh added to the lineup but both generally cool.
Endymion super fans bug me more

I think Endymion does a good job of updating floats and adding new. Much like Bacchus usto do, I heard they are adding some new things this year. Changing up the Kong floats

I've never been in either parade, but I'd go with Bacchus easy. I'm a college student though, and Endymion is more for families.
My entire life growing up I would usually go to the uptown parades friday, take a break saturday, and then go all out for Bacchus. Endymion stopped being fun after I was 13 when I stopped caring as much about actually catching stuff. They probably throw more, but if you're not a kid it doesnt really matter.
Also the uptown route is a lot more fun. It's a completely different crowd and vibe. Also can be trashier and more dangerous (but that's part of the fun.)

Not Even Close. Have You seen Endymion's Floats the past few years? The signature floats have more Video/Audio and LED lighting than a Kiss concert. Bacchus cant spell fiber optics. Every Float (Signature and Krewe floats) are at a minimum tandem floats. Bacchus has one minus the whale and Gator. I will say Bacchus has a nice Parade and some original designed floats, but its in no way on the same playing field as Endymion. They are living off of the past stigma given to them as a super Krewe but have fallen to just meeting the Bar to keep them classified as such.
