Who cares. I live in Chicago and I’ve never worried about a shooting. Being stabbed or having a violent encounter with the homeless? Sure. Shootings happen in the ghetto and I ain’t going to the ghetto

For the other people reading this thread: Chicago is extremely segregated. I'd take my dog for a walk at 11:30pm and feel absolutely no concern at all.
I feel safer in Chicago than I felt living in New Brunswick, NJ.

Can’t remember if it was Chicago or Detroit but they averaged 12 people getting shot per night on the weekends

Reminds me of the guys i know who are yuppies and live in St.Louis City.
Always talking shite about us running to the suburbs and how the city is so safe, while also tweeting about how they are watching bums fighting in the park across the street, how they live there, and on occasions how they hear gun shots from the park.

I have met two people who had family members murdered since I’ve been here and I know plenty of people in the south side.
I do care.
I just get frustrated with the whole approach people have to the issue.
I came to the conclusion a long time ago people do a whole lot of talking about these issues but aren’t willing to take the hard action necessary to do anything about it.
I just leaves me seeing the whole issue as farcical
