Khakis and long sleeve button up Polo.

Sane for most people here except some have jeans.

I don't think some understood the OP. I even included an example of what's inappropriate.

I guess I just see this as a day of the year where you see family and friends for a special occasion. Wearing gym shorts and a wife beater doesn't scream "Thanksgiving" to me.

frick business casual. I'm cooking so I get to wear what I want. I'm currently wearing LSU purple windpants and an LSU shirt with the old football helmet logo. Fried turkey will be done in about 2 mins.

Eta: Sipping on rum and coke in an LSU cup. It's game day bitches.

We decided to do a pajama thanksgiving. Nobody feels like dressing up. I kinda like it.
