Its definitely true. But im just chalking it up as a personal karma. Dont get mad at the little guy. Thats what i did. I got burned. Still though...literally customer disservice.

Air canada!

Was on an 8 hour flight that landed at 8:00 local time. You would think they would let you sleep right?? So I took sleep medicine as I have trouble falling asleep and wanted to be well rested when I arrived.

Well they served dinner.. which is fine I guess. Oh during the dinner I got fussed at because I was allergic to nuts. And the lights stayed on. about an hour later they came to pick up dinner and the lights stayed on. I asked when they would be turned off and they replied after the snack... snack?? I want sleep! everyone was asking for the lights to be turned off and they refused.

an hour after that they passed out snack and it was yet still another hour after that that they came and picked it up.. and awhile after that when they finally turned the lights out. By the time they had there was maybe 2-3 hours left in the flight and to make matters worse they kept coming up and down the aisle with carts, bags ect making it impossible to really dooze off.

This really affected my fiance who had never been on such a long flight and started having a panic attack due to a few hours of plane anxiety that had been bubbling plus lack of sleep. I asked the flight attendant, who seemed to have no problem plodding up and down the aisle earlier, for a coke or some water as it almost at this point looked like she was going into shock.

The flight attendants literal response was...UGH It can't wait???? I lost it! In the calmest way I could since she was already not doing so good in the seat next to me I explained how she was feeling she really needs something anything to calm down, that we were sleep deprived and hadn't been allowed to rest on the flight. The kicker here was the flight attendants respinse to that was.. WELL WE (THE CREW) HAVE BEEN ON THIS FLIGHT FOR HOURS TOO WE'RE ALL TIRED!

WTF?!? I PAID to be on this flight this is your damn job. I asked for a freaking drink for someone who was having a panic attack and feeling rough because you decided to be a-holes and keep everyone on the flight up all night and that's too much for you??

TL;DR- Was kept up all night by the flight crew on an 8 hour red eye, then was fussed at for asking for a glass of water and further yelled at for mentioning I was tired.

Alamo car rental. My family (about 12 of us) flew into DEN for a family trip to Breckinridge. We rented an SUV and 15-passenger van. When we got into the city of Denver on I-70, the van lost all hydraulics. The driver could barely pull it over. We called the number that Alamo gave us to have it towed back. After 90 minutes and three phone calls, my stepdad called a random tow which got there in 15 minutes. When we get back to the rental place, they refused to pay for the tow because it wasn't their "guy." I've never seen such horrible service.

The great thing was that we hadn't paid the tow driver yet. He said if we don't pay, he takes the van. We told him "sounds good," and Alamo immediately changed their tune.

Tl;dr Alamo at DEN sucks

When I was in HS I was witness to my mom exploding on the local utility company. My folks got a water bill one month that was something to the tune of $2000.

As it turns out, our water meter had 5 digits and apparently their new billing software had 6 blanks for input. The dumbass exchange when something g like this:

Woman: "ma'am, our software has too many blanks and we have to fill all the blanks or it won't send out the bill"
Mom: "well, you made our water usage shoot up from 13562 gal to 135620 gallons in one month."
Woman: "we have to put that extra zero somewhere...."
Mom: "YOU DON'T PUT IT AT THE END!!"

I lost my shite laughing. My mom then had to explain to her the difference between 013562 and 135620. I think the woman thought she was still right even after we left.

Post Properties in Atlanta, their deadbolt broke and they wouldn't let me back in my apartment because they, come to find out, lost my file and couldn't verify I lived there.

Or

Lowe's couldn't deliver a non damaged refrigerator to me and lied to me about delivery dates, lied to me about who the manager was, etc.

Oil change/Car wash stuck a plug in the return line of my wife's AC. The water backed up in the car and all over the passenger floorboard.

She went back to the place and they found the plug and said they didn't do that and it must have been there from the factory. The car was 5 years old.

Manager agreed to clean the carpets. They did a poor job of cleaning and the car started to smell and the carpet was starting to mildew.

I return on a Saturday with the car and the manager tells me that they are done and will not go any further. Huge argument takes place in front of a lot of their customers.

I am driving away pissed off and stopped the car, got out and flipped all of their carts over with the cleaning supplies and towels. Kicked a bunch of shite into the street.

A few days later the owner called my wife asking if she wanted to see the video. She said no, but still wanted her car cleaned. They did wind up cleaning the carpet properly about a week later.

I was really mad at Bank of America when they bought Taylor Bean and Whitaker's mortgage sector and lost our mortgage payment.

Then two years later I found out WHY? TB&W got our payment just before bankruptcy was approved and Lee Farkas was frickING everyone, and the money went poof. So rightfully BOA wanted their mortgage payment but was coming after the wrong people. Took months to get that worked out. Literally 4 months of them calling me two times a week for a 'missed' payment.

Same thing happened to me! I was out of town for 3 weeks, and I came home to a $200 gas bill. It had never been over $40. Conclusion there was nothing they could do. Meter said what the meter said

My post is for Jos A Bank. I ordered suits for all my groomsmen and myself. They ordered the wrong suit 3 times. All groomsmen were in different states, and sent the complete wrong suit each time.

Delta airlines destroyed my bag containing all of my scuba equipment. They broke several smaller items. I placed a claim at the airport....no reply. I called the number....no reply. I sent emails....no reply. Called the airport again....no reply. Sent certified letter....no reply.

With the bag replacement, the gear I had to replace, and the rental gear I had to use, I was out about $700. Too much to let go. So I sued Delta is small claims court. I figured they would get the message that this was a small claim and that finally I would speak to someone reasonable.

Those sumbiches removed me to Federal Court and tried to " make a Federal Case" out of it. Well, now I was pissed.....I spent days becoming subject matter expert on the laws they were citing as authority for removal and every single case that came down on the issue. My Motion to Remand was the type of thing you get Pulitzer prize for writing.

I am sure the silk-stocking defense firm they hired in Nola charged around $500 per hour. I flooded their office with so much discovery and so many motions, that I felt the need to donate to Green Peace's Deforestation Cause.

I was remanded back to State Court and Delta was sanctioned for improper removal. They continued to huff and puff in State Court and after the first status conference ...when the judge saw what this was all about, he practically threw Delta out of chambers and dared them to go to trial.

Delta called me and offered me $ 5K. I mean....WTF??? I estimate they spent $10K + on defense counsel, got hit with $ 2K in sanctions, and out of the blue offered me $ 5K.

$ 17,0000 on what should have been an apology and a quick check for $ 700.00.

Now you know why I no longer fly DELTA.

I am without home internet now because I was so disgusted with AT&T. They are unable or unwilling to do what it takes to give me reliable service, and they're the only game in town. I'd rather do without than pay for shitty service.

In college, my complex added the small digital cable boxes to all the rooms in the apartments as basic cable was included. We had upgraded cable in the living room so I had an account with Cox already so they added the box to my room to my account without my knowledge. I graduated and moved out so returned the extra box I had for the living rokm and closed the account. When I closed the account I asked for a receipt to verify I had returned all the equipment was returned and I was squared up because they always mess everything up. They told me they don't do receipts but I was good and she noted on my account everything was returned. Important to the rest of the story is while I was doing this they asked why I was cancelling. I said I was moving to an area where Cox wasn't offered.

Fast forward about 90 days I get a call from a collection agency. They're asking for my address all that type stuff. I'm convinced it's a scam because I have no outstanding credit on everything and ask what it's about. They say something has been turned over by Cox so I call them. So I call Cox and they claim and they say I stole a minibox from them and I owe like $200. I say that's incorrect and I'm already pissed because I asked for a receipt so this exact situation would not happen. On top of that, then I ask why they didn't tell me anything before they sent me to a collection agency. They said they had been sending mail for a month. I had never done anything by mail with Cox in 3 years that I had the service and told them when I closed my account I was moving and they had that info so why would they send me mail.

After explaining the apartment deal to them to about 10 people over about 5 hours on the phone they say ok we'll do an inventory check to make sure we don't have it. Of course they say they don't so I'm liable, I say that's bullshite and want to talk to someone in charge. At this point it was about principle not the $200. They finally send me to Omaha to a corporate office, and I explain the situation the lady and she says, oh this happens all the time because it's such a big install so I'll just take it off for you.

That's what pissed me off so bad. I spent probably 15 hours on the phone between talking to idiots and being on hold and then finally got to the right person and the situation was fixed in literally 3 minutes.

TL;DR I got run around by Cox for 3 weeks and 15 hours of phone time for something they lost and said I stole.

I got sent home with the wrong cat from the vet the other day. I thought the cat seemed younger looking than mine but it was an orange tabby and they all look exactly alike. I didn't have a carrier so when the cat was handed to me I had to get it right in the car since it was trying to get out of my arms. I figured my cat was just ready to get home. Point being I never got to take a close look even though my gut told my something was off. The cat gets in my car and goes to the back. I don't get to really inspect this cat until I get in my driveway. By this time the cat has pissed and shite in my car. I now realize this is absolutely not my cat. I was furious. Partly with myself for not taking the time to make sure it was my cat but mostly with the vets office for going to the back and grabbing random animals that happen to be the right color and handing them off to people. If I had had a carrier then I wouldn't have been able to look at the cat, anyway.
