I went to Ponchatoula back in the 80’s. Anyways we had a Kid transfer to our high school , he had dark rings around both eyes . I’m not sure what happened to him but he was a really quiet kid. There were these two black kids that messed with him daily and called him “ cover girl”. Well one day near the end of the school year I guess he had enough, we were in the locker room and he beat the shite out of both of them really bad. The coaches ran into the locker room to pull him off but not before he Mike Tyson one of them. He bit a big chunk of that boys ear off I’ve never heard anyone scream like him, blood was everywhere. This was the 80’s and they couldn’t attach the part of his ear

My wife went to school with a chick named Swamp Donkey. She apparently reminded people of the donkey from Shrek.

There was a girl nicknamed Greenteeth, she had green teeth. She was really a pretty good looking chick except for that. The story is she got some kind of medicine when she was an infant and one of the rare side effects was it could turn turn your teeth green, and it happened to her.

Not in school, but my buddy works with a guy that they all call "Touchdown," and it has nothing to do with his prowess in football.

Growing up in NOLA in the 70s & 80s, the evening news gave us a great nickname: Tuesdays Child. If there was a kid we didn't like in elementary school, we called them Tuesday's Child.

"Csonk"-guy had a crooked nose like Larry Csonka
"Big Mama"- she was built like Mama Cass
"Meat"-he looked like Meat from Porky's
