Where's Gaston at? His kid is apparently the next Jim Thorpe. I'm sure the kid can hit and pitch with the best of them.

Our league it means nothing. Half the kids that should be in it don’t want to play or can’t. That means 1/2 the kids are just there because they can breathe.

I know. My kid is as much of an all star AEC my chihuahua. But if I would coach it he would be put on the team. We are going to the beach.

Stressful having your son carry his team on his back game in and game out.

I won’t be a cocksucker like the guys making condescending remarks about kids that play baseball like it’s against the fricking law. Because god forbid kids go play baseball and learn the game against decent competition.

The majority of posters that make these posts are guys that don’t play, or kids that don’t play, or played at one point and sucked terribly. Or don’t have any kids at all. This board has a weird infatuation with baseball and making the same jokes over and over again.

With that said, I’ll answer your stupid arse question. My kid is in his second year of tball in rec league. His coach told me he was NOMINATED for All-Stars and no guarantees that he’d be picked. At the beginning of the year, I warned the coach that he wasn’t great and we’re just wanting to learn the game a bit more and improve over time.

He’s improved so much over the year, that I’m super proud of him for even being nominated. He loves it. He got his second game ball last night and the kid was smiling from ear to ear, so does anyone want to tell me that playing baseball is for me and not the kid like every other thread as well?

This OT trend needs to die like the rest of the unfunny nonsense over the years.

Let me apologize to all of you guys for being proud of my kid for taking a huge leap in learning a game.

Oh and my kids name is one that was popular in the 50s. Not some super white, chosen by a mid20s blonde hair chick that can’t drive a suburban.

Nah, it’s about him hanging w soon to be 6 and 7 year olds. It’s amazing how some of the talented kids play ball that young. The ones who put the time in at home excel. It’s fun being good.

Lol, there are all-stars for tee ball? 90% of these kids can’t wipe their own asses or piss in the toilet with any precision. What does it take to get a game ball—running around the bases the right way and not getting distracted by dragonflies in the outfield??

One day be in MLB.

Aren’t you the one that’s just mad at the kids because their parents pimp them for money?

It was a great time in their lives and mine! Summertime in the sun playing ball! What's not to love? Dirt, sweat, pistachios, hanging out with the kids. It was a lot of fun.
