It will take people actually listening to those they disagree with and not looking at everything through a lens of us/them. Not likely for many on here, but probably will happen to a significant extent in society overall (and has for many already).

I was going to say a Cold War, but given that it’s communists burning down our society and the media being behind them, I think some type of civil war is inevitable at this point.

I am a 70+ yr old social moderate & economic conservative. I've seen versions of this going back to the black gloved Olympic protests, the end of segregation, the Viet Nam War protests, the MLK King riots & subsequent social unrest, Rodney King, etc etc. I've have never seen this bad, country-wide. And I honestly see no resolution.The divide is too much now and none of the issues, for both sides, will magically disappear.

The government has failed everyone because that’s what governments generally do
