Oh I don't disagree about the charities at all. I was talking more of natural resources that COULD be managed to build the foundations of stable civilization in Africa, and the legion of programs in the U.S. (college scholarships, government stipends, free public education, etc.) that most impoverished people in other nations couldn't dream of. And what have most done with these advantages? Bupkis.

I know what his saying I'm not an idiot. But what is he implying behind his statement? I don't get the point that is tying to be made? Blacks in south Africa have been free for 22 years and they aren't using slave labor to line their pockets like some others have been known to do. And south Africa in particular Johannesburg and Nigeria have good strong stable economies

I served on a jury once with a white South African guy who had recently become an American citizen.
We elected him foreman because he was genuinely pumped to be a juror. He even had an American flag pin on the lapel of his suit jacket the last day we were in court.
