When I was 14, I took my Dad’s State Trooper car for a joy ride.

Errantly got on the road that passed right by HQ and couldn’t turn off in time, so I put on his hat as camo and drove slowly by.

I never shared this with him.

Probably when I was 19, sold just about everything I owned and went to Australia for five years.

Damn, that was good times.

When I was in undergrad, I worked at the intramural fields. Every August, we had to paint the lines for eight flag football fields. It was huge pain in the arse doing the measuring and whatnot.

After working there a couple years, I had developed a pretty laissez-faire attitude about everything. So I stopped being so precise with the measuring and just started eye-balling it.

After we'd finished one field, we stepped back and realized that it was clearly shaped like a trapezoid. One of my younger co-workers asked if we should re-paint it. Being the senior person on staff, I just said "meh, close enough."

I once had a friend/roommate who had a 1995 Monte Carlo. It was the biggest piece of shite car I think I've ever been associated with. It had been in the shop twice for around 6 weeks with only a couple days between them. He got it back "good to go" and paid the mechanic. We were on our way to North Carolina when it broke down again on a bridge in/around Chattanooga at 2 AM.
He didn't say a word to me. He just got out and grabbed his bag and a few tools. He took the tag off, put it in his bag, and wrote a note that read, "If you can fix it, you can have it. The title is in the glove box and the key is under the mat". He slipped the note under the wipers and started walking with me watching from the passenger seat.
That was a guy who didn't give one single frick about anything at that moment.

I’ll probably get made fun of for this.

I had a gf in college who had an alcohol problem. 2 drinks and she’d get pissy and occasionally violent.

One evening it happened right as we were leaving tiger land. Plan was to walk back to her house originally. Since she was mad, she insisted on driving me home, hammered drunk.

Fast forward 5 minutes, she’s in the back of a patrol car on Alvin Dark and I’m walking back to Fred’s to celebrate with friends.

She also called the cops on me once for “beating her”. Cops show up, see marks all over me, not one on her, tell her I’ve done nothing wrong. She flips out, starts swinging at the cops.

Once again, she’s in the pokey.

Pussy was bomb though. You know what they say about a man with a hard dick...

All of this buildup to the 2020 election. I honest to God am sick of hearing about it already and get pissed when people think they're changing the world by getting into political arguments at places it's completely not warranted. Nothing gets accomplished from the arguing but damn it that boomer 3 tables away in this restaurant will know my position on the Ukraine.

You've already made your minds up of Trump or anybody else. Shut the frick up already.

my daily routine at work where i spend hours on this message board. My boss won't fix the shite that will allow me to fix the shite so i sit here and waste my time collecting my pay check. Hell she may be here doing the same thing, I know she hasn't been given funding to hire some other people to fix shite that she can't fix.
