The best margarita of my life at the Empress Hotel in Chaing Mai, Thailand after a day of riding elephants through the jungle and whitewater rafting some serious shite.

And the ice cold beer after solo skydiving.

Happiness is so damn fleeting. You may catch it for a moment but you pursue it forever.

There really is nothing like a cold beer after skydiving.

The day my son was released from the NICU. Most parents will say they had an instant bond with their child. I never got that. I got to hold him for a few seconds before he was whisked away for evaluation. My husband got to be there for that, take pictures, see the weigh in, etc while I was in the next room being stitched up an what not, it was awful. It was a good few hours before I actually got to hold him and at that point he had an IV and was hooked up to all the monitors. It was 3 weeks of moving wires and stressful days before he came home. I can't even describe the drive out of Woman's, I have neve been happier in my life.

Mine was when I taught both my kids how to ride their bikes. When we started, we didn’t stop till mission accomplished. I think a tear rolled down my face when I saw them light up w a real sense of accomplishment that very moment. From that moment on it’s like they were riding for years.

The births of my two daughters have no equal feeling of pleasure and accomplishment. I wouldn’t classify either of those as moments, though, as both experiences have been ongoing since their births.

The happiest isolated “moment” would be Tracy Porter’s pick six in XLIV. That was the most estatic I’ve e’er been in one single moment in my life. I actually levitated in the stadium.

Not to get too serious, but if you are constantly chasing what you think will be the happiest moment in your life, then when it happens you wont enjoy it.

Enjoy the little things. Certainly there is something that has already happened to you that would qualify as the happiest moment of your life... so far.
