Having a gold medal hung around my neck x3 while playing with Team USA. It was really special hearing The Star Spangled Banner played because of something I had a hand in. We sang it loudly and lustily!

It’s hard to single out 1 moment but the first thing that came to mind was when my oldest daughter was 3, she walked up to me and said, “daddy you are my best friend “

A 4 day trip around Admiralty Island and up into Glacier bay with my youngest daughter when she was 6. Poked around small bays and inlets, watched whales breach, went to a magical place called Baranof Warm Springs, spent a day in Glacier Bay National Park. Perfect weather the entire trip. Just one of those experiences you never can replicate.

—New Year’s Eve in Sydney Harbor
—Being lost in Rome, turning a corner, and seeing the Pantheon
—Standing in front of Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus”
—Warren Morris, ‘96
—Sergio Aguero, 2012 ( google it)
—The first time I played those four notes as a member of Tiger Band

Marrying my wife and the years we've been together have been pretty damn good.
Sort of like what Bushmaster said, serving my country had it's moments. A moonless night on a darkened warship silently cutting through a vast, calm sea with no land in sight is a peaceful experience that's hard to duplicate. I saw a whole lot of the world those years.

Graduating Marine Corps Recruit Training
Getting Married
Making it back from Afg days before my son - first child - was born
Spending time with my daughter laying on my chest after she was born.
Anything material I have is nothing in compassion to my family. I truly love them so much and thankful for the happiness they bring.

My little girl(now 11) was born a month prematurely. As the nurses were cleaning her up, she was fussing a bit(very weak cries). I stepped over to her and said, "Hey,little lady". She stopped fussing and turned her head towards me. I stuck my pinky finger in her hand and she squeezed it. Even the nurses commented about it and it was an instant bond between my daughter and me. I was absolutely thrilled about it.

It saved me. As dark a hole i fell in I don’t think I would have crawled out without those precious little ones. They show you what real love can be. Give you true purpose.

ideally a long term, team effort.
Its full of love and a 1,000 challenges.
Lucky me.
I think mine was swimming with daughter in a lovely pond called "Mothers bed".
It was just such a perfect moment.
Heart opening.

1) When I got a NES from Santa when I was convinced my folks did not have the money.
2) 2nd time getting laid. First time was just terrifying.
3) Throwing my cover up in the air and getting commissioned.
4) Looking at the Blue Pacific early in the morning and thinking: "This is my job. I get paid to do this."
5) Wedding Day
6) Day I found out #1 was a boy. (first of 5 sons, I am truly blessed)
7) Walking off the plane at DFW to USO greeting. God Bless Texas....meant the world to me.
8) Walking off the plane to wife, sons, and parents after Iraq Tour. Daddy waving The Flag.
9) Walking on a beach...pretty much any beach.
10) Fishin' out of Cocodrie or Venice.
11) Walking along some slough or in a beaver pond....creeping some wood ducks.
12) Sitting with my family in Mass.

Maybe it’s me, But the old betting homage is that no one can remember all the happy times, or the times they won.
But I can recall with remarkable accuracy the saddest moments in my life and the times I lost
