I have a 1.5 year old whos awesome to hang out with and a second kid on the way. Steady job and a great home at 3% interest rate. Not much to complain about that means anything near what those things mean to me.

Unlike a lot of my peers, I can sleep through the night without having to wake up and take a leak.

Got engaged last Friday. Got a new [old] home last week that will be our new project. Got 401k added at work (we were a startup) two days ago. The weather is pretty. I have no set plans tonight.

My mom and siblings are doing really well right now. Almost a year since my father died and we have all managed to be ok as we navigate life without him. Financially they are doing great so a major stress lifted off my shoulders as I continue to manage all the big stuff for them.

Dating someone amazing with 2 great kids that seem to really like me (and they absolutely ADORE Butters).

Bad stuff happens. You live, you hopefully learn. Life does go on and things do eventually get better.

I'm currently standing at the trailhead of the Legacy Trail here in Lexington. Paved bike trail that runs through rural horse farms and the Kentucky Horse Park. Goes all the way from the Fayette/Scott Co line to downtown Lexington and West6th brewery. Its a gorgeous day out. No clouds. Mid 70s and not terribly humid. Horses are out here running around. Going to see the Reds play the Cardinals in Cincinnati. Been suffering from some serious depression the past year or so but it's why I get out here and get after it. Reminds you of life's blessings and how good we have it.

Oh man. Best of luck to your patience

We are doing everything over the next few months while remaining in our current house. It is in the same neighborhood as the new one, so we are able to be over there every day.

Our rates went from 2.5% on a 15-year to 4.5 on a 30 with the new house positive outlook is, rates will only continue to go up this year so they're as low as they're gonna be!
