I've rid myself of a few one-sided friendships in the past couple months and its been a huge weight lifted.

That Mike Tyson didn't beat me up when I snapped a picture of him and yelled "what's up Mike?"

That I have only one more year to go paying for my daughter's education at OU and neither she nor my wife and I are one penny in debt over it, and we've already set aside the funds for her senior year. Clear sailing here on out and I can see the warm glow of retirement on the distant horizon is about to rise for me.

I am a live and I don't continuously consume information that will make me depressed.

It doesn't matter how bad you have it, there are people out there who have it worse. Life is going to happen, you just got to keep rolling with the punches and be thankful for what you have.

I did that about 5 years ago. Dumped some toxic friends to the curb. Best decision ever

I went fishing today instead of going to work. Burned a bunch of gas and oil to celebrate Earth Day.

I haven’t been this happy in years… the last part of last year was ticking horrible…, but now since I’ve quit drinking I have gained over 60 lbs and my health is great. The wife is doing much better with new meds. Life is really good right now….

Took my dog to the emergency vet at 2 a.m. last Saturday with what we believed to be a broken neck. Tonight she is running circles around me. God is good.

Up until a couple months ago, every day at work was like working in a 12 hour panic attack.

Now, demand for covid services have plummeted off a cliff and I’m finally fully staffed. It is so great to see my patients’ faces and have more time for them. I’ve never been happier at work than I am now.
