What's a good walking footwear that isn't a tennis shoe?

I need something for cold weather outside walking. Most of my foot wear is tennis shoes or dress shoes. I turned my last set of hiking boots into work boots so they are out. I was I guess looking here to get an idea of something stylish and comfortable. I also need to get it locally if possible. I have to start working them in before trip.

I like On Clouds and Air Max 95s but I need something warmer and sturdier.

Something for urban walking in cold weather.

Merrell - it depends on what you need them to look like.

Nike Air Force 1s. You’ll have bitches dropping to their knees when you walk by them in those things.

I'm sort of lost at to what type of shoe you are looking for. Hiking shoes? Comfortable shoes that aren't dressy but not tennis shoes?

Either get some Cole Haan zerogrands or get some chukka type boots. Zerogrands being more dressy, chukka being casual to dressy depending on what you get

Cole Haan Zerogrand Oxfords

CH sucks, but Zerogrand is awesome. They're the perfect compromise for traveling when you need to walk 10-15 miles around some cobblestone city but want to be able to pop into a nice bar or restaurant or museum without looking too casual.

To echo what the above poster said, CH makes a zero grand chukka too. I have both and I only wear them when I travel, they're perfect for that.

I have a pair of Cole Haans but they aren't really comfortable for long walks.

Comfort over looks for sure.

Exactly.

My favorite bit is this…

I like On Clouds and Air Max 95s but I need the opposite of those.

I need to check into that. I have a pair I got at Cole Haan store in Orlando years back. They were only $90 so not Zeroguard.

My most comfortable shoes are my On clouds but they don't keep feet warm and I'll looking at temps in the 30s.

Edited for now - I see what you are looking for is a comfortable shoe that is warm. Doing a bit of research, will edit again in a few... if I can figure something out (if)

I'm looking for a pair of shoes to take on a trip to Europe where they will be the only shoe I wear all day for a week.
