Old cartoon movies.

As a parent I show my kid older cartoons from looney tunes, to Popeye, to ninja turtles and batman

That and a look and find book. Those are great for 2 year olds. They learn objects and shapes and stuff. It's easy for them to do by themselves and also with mom/dad.
