This. They’ll get their pound of flesh from you but you’re correct.

Maybe now, but back in the day my neighbor made a shite ton of money working for them. When he retired, they plopped some stock down in his retirement package. He was happy.

This is all I care about. No mail delivery organization in the world is as bloated, inefficient, and tax dollar thirsty as USPS is.

UPS and FedEx can do whatever they want behind closed doors if they get me my packages on time.

Doug had to be pulling a decent paycheck at IPS, as he lived in a large two-story home in New York with celebrities like Lou Ferrigno as neighbors. And a man his size doesn't land a chick like Carrie without having some money in the bank...

I'm confused. With the homeowner whipping out their camera to record this, is this supposed to be an example of unprofessional behavior on the part of the UPS guy?

I personally don't see this as a problem...other than being a little slow on his delivery runs...but everytime someone whips out their phone to record someone, I always assume it's because they're trying to get their job.

I was thinking the same thing.

OP revealed his employer, location, length of service, and a specific incident.

Actually, when they started dating he didn’t even have a job. Funny story, he talk Carrie he got a job so she would sleep with him for the first time. Next morning she was following him to see where he worked and he had to duck into the IPS office out of desperation.

It all worked out though.

I know their customer service is horrendous. Filing a claim is a waste and a joke to try.

I know a lot of you are too young to remember, but back in the 90s when UPS first went public, a lot of their workers became quite wealthy overnight.
